It is our mission to provide you with the highest and most comprehensive level of patient-centered healthcare. We value an integrative approach toward healing and combine the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with an understanding of modern Western medicine. We recognize the need to refer appropriately to other health care practitioners and have therefore developed professional relationships in the community.

Team Bios.

  • Andrea is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the states of New York and California, and a Nationally Board Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She completed a four-year Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco.

    In addition, Andrea has experience working in the fields of Infertility with world-renowned Dr. Lifang Liang, and Stroke Recovery through an Internship at the California Pacific Medical Center Stroke Project in San Francisco. She was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Acupuncturist Barbara Bernie, a well-respected pioneer in the field, at the American Foundation for Traditional Chinese Medicine. While attending graduate school, Andrea was a Teaching Assistant to the Chair of the Department of Herbal Medicine, Daniel Jiao. She taught classes in TCM Materia Medica and TCM Formulary.

    To obtain optimal health Andrea believes in integrating Eastern and Western philosophies. She enjoys working as a team with MDs and other health care providers to offer the highest quality health care to her patients. As the founder of Scarsdale Acupuncture in 2006, Andrea treats a wide range of disorders caused by emotional and physical imbalances (see ‘Conditions Treated with Acupuncture‘).

  • Lisa has a National Certification and a New York state license to practice acupuncture along with currently pursuing a license for the state of New Jersey. She completed her coursework at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York. Her undergraduate training includes a biology and international studies degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC. There she focused on flora, ecosystems, and south American culture and politics. Her foray into human health issues started in 2008, with the awareness that human health and environmental health go hand in hand. Lisa has the good fortune of continued guidance and apprenticeship through Moshe Heller, L.Ac., who focuses on pediatrics.

    She treats adults with various conditions and health concerns, but focuses on pediatrics as well. Lisa is immersed in practicing qi-gong that thoroughly supports her treatment practice. She is also practicing Tui-Na skills for pediatric massage, and heavy into eastern nutrition for supporting good mental/emotional health and vitality. Her intention with the work of acupuncture is to celebrate our individual expression of life and to smooth out the challenges that happen with our transitions in living daily life. She shares a toolbox of eastern nutritional counseling with her patients, breathwork, meditation, and qi-gong advisement.

  • Dr. Amy Wiesner has been practicing wellness medicine for almost 20 years. She is licensed in both Naturopathic Medicine and Acupuncture and has taught at both the College of Naturopathic Medicine and the Acupuncture Institute of the University of Bridgeport. In addition to her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, she received her masters’ degree in Acupuncture from the University of Bridgeport.

    Dr. Wiesner is passionate about using acupuncture as a modality to help her patients to feel better as well as to prevent disease. She believes that balancing the entire body physically, mentally and emotionally helps us to achieve the best results and she believes acupuncture is an amazing tool with which to achieve this. With acupuncture, she addresses women’s health, fertility, gastrointestinal health, allergies, stress and pain, among other health issues.

    She is trained in both Western and Eastern herbal medicine, homeopathy and nutritional supplementation to help people to achieve optimum health. She is also certified as a Acupuncture Institute of the University of Bridgeport, using lifestyle counseling and diet to treat and prevent weight gain, disease and promote healthy aging.

  • Jin Kim is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She attended Pacific College of Health and Science where she obtained her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) along with her Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM). She continued her training with master practitioners from Korea of Sa-Am, four-needle technique, Sports Korean Medicine-Team Doctor, and Facial Acupuncture Techniques. 

    Dr. Jin’s expertise extends to a variety of health issues, including but not limited to pain management, women's health, fertility support, and digestive wellness. She provides individualized acupuncture and herbal treatments tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. Her holistic approach goes beyond symptom management, aiming to uncover the underlying imbalances that may be contributing to your health challenges. 

    Dr. Jin believes in empowering individuals to take an active role in their health and well-being. Through open communication and a supportive environment, she fosters a partnership with her patients, guiding them on a path to sustained vitality.

  • Chong Na is a dually Licensed Acupuncturist and Esthetician. Chong attended New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she received comprehensive instruction in acupuncture and other TCM modalities. As a dedicated acupuncturist, she is passionate about facilitating holistic healing, beauty and wellness for her patients. With extensive training and experience in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and acupuncture, she employs a blend of ancient wisdom and modern techniques to address a wide range of health concerns.

    Chong’s expertise encompasses various areas of health and well-being, including pain management, stress reduction, fertility support, digestive disorders, emotional balance, and facial rejuvenation. She believes in a holistic approach to healing that addresses the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit. By stimulating the body's natural healing mechanisms through acupuncture, she strives to restore harmony and balance to her patients, promoting overall wellness, vitality, and beauty.

    As both an Acupuncturist and Esthetician, Chong skillfully blends traditional and cosmetic techniques, enhancing natural beauty and promoting skin health. She offers facial acupuncture, which is a natural way to boost collagen, improve elasticity, and minimize scars and fine lines.   • Casey joined Scarsdale Acupuncture as the office manager in January of 2023. Ever since she had the good fortune of discovering yoga in 2010 she has had a growing interest in the mind-body connection. After graduating from Towson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, she spent the past decade using hospitality work as a platform to travel the world and explore other cultures and ways of living.

    Interested in the space where eastern and western methodologies of healing can meet, Casey is currently studying acupuncture and Chinese herbal Medicine at Pacific College of Health and Science. She is excited to learn more about TCM and is dedicated to providing a positive experience for everyone pursing their health goals.
